Autumn Sampler is a beautiful reproduction of a tapestry sampler originally stitched in 1903. The sampler has been designed with DMC only and uses full stitches only. The model stitch has been completed on 40ct Tickety Boo and has been stitched 1 strand of floss over 2 strands of fabric. The finished pattern is 5.3 x 7.3 inches. The rich, warm colours of this sampler are what originally appealed to me. Unfortunately, there is no indication of who originally stitched this tapestry sampler as there is only the initials of the stitcher and no information relating to the location of the stitcher. I have framed the sampler in a rustic, wooden frame and I love the finished look. I thoroughly hope you enjoy stitching it as much as I did.
